Puerto Princesa, 16 August 2024 – Palawan National School (PNS) proudly honors its outstanding teacher-researchers who made a significant impact at the 8th DepEd MIMAROPA Research Summit, held on August 16, 2024 via Microsoft Team and FB live. The event celebrated the exemplary contributions of educators in advancing education through innovative research, and PNS is delighted to recognize its faculty members for their remarkable achievements.

Among the honorees is Sir Alexis D. Diosaban, a TVL teacher, who was awarded Best Research Presenter in the Action Research category. His pioneering study on the ePNS LMS (Learning Management System) was commended for its potential to enhance the digital learning experience and retention within the school.

Additionally, the Values Education team composed of Ma’am Analene N. Gerbolingo, Sir Lodgie Sornito, and Ma’am Raquel T. Cahigan received 3rd Place in Action Research Presenters by Theme in the Teaching and Learning category for their innovative project, “Project EASE IMS”. This project, designed to improve instructional management systems, garnered praise for its impact on enhancing teaching strategies.

Palawan National School Principal, Dr. Jabel Anthony L. Nuñala, lauded the achievements of the teacher-researchers, stating: “Their dedication to research and innovation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the MATATAG Curriculum. These accomplishments not only bring pride to our school but also underscore our mission to deliver the highest quality education to our students.”

PNS also extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Schools Division of Puerto Princesa City, led by Ma’am Laida M. Lagar-Mascareñas, OIC-Office of the Schools Division Superintendent. Her leadership, along with the support of DepEd officials, has been instrumental in providing the guidance and encouragement necessary for the success of the school’s research initiatives.
